The North Las Vegas Airport Open House & Car Show 2018 show is from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Clark County Aviation Association in association and conjunction with the Clark County Department of Airport is hosting an Aviation Open House, Saturday November 10th, 2018 at the temporary Terminal at the North Las Vegas Airport, 2730 Airport Dr, North Las Vegas, NV 89032. The show starts at 9 am and goes until 3 pm, and as in the past the local chapter of the Las Vegas 99s Women in Aviation will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast starting at 7 am – so come out and show them your support. Participating in this year’s show includes: The Nevada Aviation Hall of Fame, the FAA FAAST Team, The Red Tail Modelers, The Radio Control Club, Commemorative Air Force, Civil Air Patrol, Department of Airports, 702 Helicopters, and WestAir Aviation. The Las Vegas Region Porsche Club of America has a social on the Third Thursday of every month from 6-9pm at a Las Vegas area restaurant. They sponsor rallies and numerous other car events. They have a 9am breakfast once a month at a local restaurant. They sponsor a number of scenic drives every year, and they also offer as many as four high performance drivers ed track events per year. The Studebaker Drivers Club Tumbleweeds Chapter meets monthly every third Wednesday at the Skyline Casino, 1741 N Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89011 at 6:00 PM for dinner before the 7:00 PM meeting. We also have at least one other event per month. The club has been in existence since 1986. We currently have around 40 members, but are aware that there are many Studebaker owners in the valley (from the national roster) who do not yet belong to our club. We also have some members who do not own Studebakers, but are enthusiasts who like the brand and attend our events.
